TETON COUNTY

  • New Cases:  3 on 7/27/21
  • Confirmed Cases: 522
  • Active Cases: 6
  • Total Doses of COVID-19 Vaccine Administered: 4,005

MONTANA

  • New Cases: 263
  • Confirmed Cases: 116,143
  • Active Cases: 1,216
  • Total Doses of COVID-19 Vaccine Administered: 892,334

The health department was also notified by DPHHS today that 2 of the recently confirmed cases in Teton County were detected to be the SARS-CoV-2 variant B.1.617.2, also known as the Delta variant.  The Delta variant is considered a “Variant of Concern” by DPHHS and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  It should be noted that not all confirmed cases in Montana undergo variant testing.  More information about SARS-CoV-2 variants in Montana can be found at the DPHHS website at https://dphhs.mt.gov/publichealth/cdepi/diseases/coronavirusmt/demographics.

KEY MESSAGES

The Teton County Health Department offers walk-in vaccination clinics, no appointment is necessary.  Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 Vaccines are available.  Upcoming clinic dates are:

Wednesday, July 28 from 9 am to 4:30 pm

Wednesday, August 4 from 9 am to 4:30 pm

Wednesday, August 18 from 9 am to 4:30 pm
