Breastfeeding Peer Counselor

Job Description:
Part-Time position of up to six (6) hours per week working with Women Infants and Child (WIC) as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor for a five county area; Teton County, Pondera County, Chouteau County, Toole County, and Glacier County. All job applications from the five counties will be pooled and will be considered by the same criteria and the successful applicant will work in their respective county’s health department. Position will offer support and education to WIC breastfeeding participants. Qualifications: candidate has breastfed at least one baby, good communication skills, computer skills, telephone communication skills, able to follow supervisory direction, accurate record keeping, extremely confidential and organized.
